Mikasa Plate Compactors
Soil Types: Granular soils, Asphalt, tarmac
Applications: Compacting sub-base for roadways or concrete slabs, interlocking paving stone, asphalt paving and patching
Highlights: Heavy-duty baseplates use high-strength steel or cast-iron construction. The available water tank provides lubrication for asphalt work and supplements dust control for work in soils. A forward mounted eccentric housing minimises downtime. Powered by ever-reliable Honda four-stroke petrol engines, plate sizes range from 350mm x 540mm up to 500mm x 560mm, and guarantee fantastic longevity. The MVC88 also includes an ‘hours meter’ enabling users to monitor working hours and service requirements as well as hand/arm vibration levels.

Mikasa Reversible Plate Compactors
Soil Types: Granular soils, Sand, Gravel, Cohesive Soils, tarmac
Applications: Compacting sub-base for roadways or concrete slabs, trench compaction
Highlights: Forward and reverse action are controlled hydraulically for easy steering. Ideal for jobs with higher soil lifts or where spot compaction is required. Removable plate extensions allow the operator to configure the compactor to the job. Powered by ultra-reliable four-stroke Honda or Hatz petrol and diesel engines, plates can be added or removed to suit specific tasks.

Mikasa Compaction Rammers
Soil Types: Cohesive Soils, tarmac
Applications: Compacting sub-base for footings, confined area and trench compaction, landscaping
Highlights: An exceptionally well-balanced design minimises operator fatigue and body balance maximises work efficiency and minimises operator fatigue. Easy start up is assured by a four-stroke petrol engine. With lowest maintenance requirements and unbeatable performance levels you can specify shoe sizes from 153mm up to 285mm.
