MQ Whiteman develops the first fully hydraulic 90cm twin ride on power float.
The Multiquip MQ Whiteman ride on power floats are regarded as the very best in the industry. One of the reasons for this is the continuous development of the Whiteman trowels at the facility in Boise, Idaho – the latest development being the very first 90cm ride on power float to have hydraulic drive systems.
The MQ Whiteman LD6 is the latest ride on power float to come off the production line. The LD6 is the only fully hydrostatic 90cm ride on power float on the market today. Electro-proportional servo-controlled pump and high torque drive motors enable the LD6 to achieve performance levels unmatched in the industry by any 90cm ride on trowel on the market today. Proportional hydraulic steering enhances manoeuvrability while the all-new walk around frame design simplifies maintenance and offers easy access to all serviceable components.
The Drive System features include a 23 HP Briggs & Stratton air cooled V twin engine offers the quality, performance and dependability contractors demand. Poclain and Parker hydraulic components deliver the efficiency and performance required for panning and finishing. A common question from contractors is will it pan or will it finish. The LD6 can do both. A fully hydrostatic system offers years of trouble-free service.
The design features of this new ride on power float include proportional hydraulic steering which offers quick response with minimal operator effort. Electric pitch control for precise pitch angle and done at the flick of a switch. All elements of the spider assembly are available as spare part items meaning replacement part costs are kept to a minimum.
Manual hand throttle and pump stroke controls allow the operator to set precise engine and blade speed rpm. The trowel performance can be tailored to the floor conditions. The palm handle ergonomic controls enhance productivity and reduce operator fatigue.
The LD6 ride on power float comes with a range of optional extra so clients can have the exact specification they require. These extras include an LED lighting kit with 6 LED lights, wiring harness and required hardware, an armrest kit for increased operator comfort along with the retardant spray system. The LD6 ride on power float also has an edger accessory which enables you to run right along the wall. Machine stability is achieved with this kit so the operator and machine can run in a controlled manor across the wall.
