1. What this policy covers
This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies that store information on, or read information from, your device when you use multiquip.co.uk. It covers cookies, browser local storage, IndexedDB, pixels, tags and similar technologies. Multiquip (UK) Limited operates this website; our Privacy Notice explains how we handle the personal information involved and how to contact us.
2. The categories we use, and your choices
We use Cookiebot to ask for and record your choice. When you first visit, you can accept everything, accept only the categories you choose, or reject everything optional. Your choice is stored for 12 months, after which we ask again.
Strictly necessary. These make the website work and provide the features you have asked for, such as keeping items in your basket, signing you in, taking payment securely, protecting our forms from automated abuse and remembering your cookie choice. They do not need your consent, but we list them below so you know what they do.
Preferences, statistics and marketing. Everything in these three categories is optional. They stay switched off until you turn them on. Rejecting them is as easy as accepting them, nothing optional is pre-ticked, and simply continuing to browse is not treated as consent. Your choice about cookies is separate from accepting our sale terms, and rejecting optional cookies will never stop you buying from us.

4. Changing or withdrawing your choice
You can review or change your choice at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer of every page. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it, and the control works on both mobile and desktop.
You can also block or delete stored information through your browser settings. Deleting a cookie stops further collection from that browser, but it does not by itself tell a third party to erase information it has already received; use the provider links below, or contact us, if you want to take that further. Blocking strictly necessary storage will stop parts of the shop, such as the basket and checkout, from working.

5. Third-party providers and international processing
We list only the providers actually in use. Google, Microsoft and Stripe process information outside the United Kingdom; section 6 of our Privacy Notice explains the transfer safeguards we rely on. We do not use embedded content or tag management to load an optional technology before you have accepted it.
